Liar’s Soliloquy

A little while ago, a friend asked me about about fear, and I realized that I’d already recorded how fear sings through the music to me.

Fear is a lie, and we lie because of fear. It’s a grand lie, one that wraps through our very conception of ourselves. We spend our lives studying fear, indulging it, finding ways to escape it.  Fear is easy and shallow, the tremble that keeps you from seeing the real depth of death.

Because death is the boundary between the self, and falling back into pieces to become part of the  universe again. We fear becoming everything again.
